Dr. Lotte Martin
Associate Dentist
Dr. Lotte Martin’s main focus is to provide her patients with quality dentistry in a compassionate and comfortable manner. Originally born in California, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Master’s degree in Oral Biology at University of California, Los Angeles. While completing her Master’s degree, she completed a thesis project detailing the molecular profile of oral cancer stem cells and presented her research at the American and International Association of Craniofacial and Dental Research. She then moved to the East Coast where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Columbia University in Manhattan, New York. She was acknowledged during her dental education with several awards including the International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award, Dr. Milton G. Schlesinger Award for Excellence in Research, and is an Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society Key member. She further honed her skills through a General Practice Residency in Dental Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Brooklyn. During her residency, she gained expertise in cosmetic and complex restorative procedures and was awarded Resident of the Year and named Chief Resident.
Dr. Martin takes great pride in providing compassionate and personalized care, making every visit as comfortable as possible. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking and baking, walking through Prospect Park, and reading fiction.
